Music Policy

The music policy will be:

Room 1: A dynamic fusion of Bachata and Salsa, with DJ Aleks on the decks.

Room 2: A smooth mix of Traditional Kizomba & Urban Kiz, with DJ Ruivo on the decks

£10 if you attend our Wednesday classes & buy on a Wednesday
£12 earlybird tickets

To Book

You can either purchase your tickets in advance at our Wednesday class, through our website www.jddance.co.uk or you can pay cash or card on the door.

You can bring water to drink, but please buy all other drinks at the bar

The venue is the Waterfall pub in Derby, opposite the train station.
Bachata & Salsa, upstairs in the room on the left and Kizomba & Urban Kiz in the room on the right.

After the great feedback we are getting from dancers and Latin music enthusiasts, on the 2nd November we will be back with more fun learning Cuban salsa and carry on dancing to Latin music at Ralli Hall Opposite Hove Train Station with great Latin music mainly Salsa Bachata Kizomba

At this event you can bring your own drinks including alcoholic beverages ( moderately please)
This venue is strictly vegetarian, no meat allowed in the building please.

3 levels Classes

Beginners class
Great fun to learn Cuban salsa basic steps, make sense of movement to music and partner dance.

Improvers class
Getting to know more fun steps and how to dance as part of a group

Intermediate class
Great way to learn moves with style and synchronisation as part of the group.

Our teachers are competent, great at helping and love to dance with everyone

From 9pm-1.30am
Latin social dance begins

Social dancing is when everyone dance together and have great time dancing, practicing and socialising in a delightful environment
There will be mainly Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba and other popular Latin dance music


Entry fee
Price includes free salsa class to all levels.
£8 standard at the door or in advance.

£6 students/key workers/ low earners ( no proof required, we value your privacy) at the door only

This is one of the reasons why more people can’t wait for the second Friday of each month a night filled with lots of dancing, laughing, fun and frivolity at an exclusive venue with a wonderful friendly atmosphere. Sedgley WMC boasts an excellent dance floor Air condition rooms, fully stock bar and easy free parking and access.
On the night expect special guest teachers each month, free Bottles of Wines and an abundance of dancers of all levels.  The only other thing needed to make the party swing in the Main Room is DJ Paul & Peter on the decks playing all the best Latin tunes around!
Our current congregation give thanks every second Friday and I’m sure you’ll join them!!!
