But he has made a couple of comments about telling his partners what to do on the dance floor, e.g.: "I asked if she would mind trying to feel the lead – look down a little less". He may not realise that many girls find these sorts of comments crushing and/or insulting and will avoid dancing with that person again. On the other hand (assuming he does not subject his partners to pain or excessive force!) if a person is polite and smiley most of the girls I know will not refuse a dance, whatever his level. Just my opinion. |  |
I agree with you 100% and must admit that I missed that bit 'it was late and the post was a long one' so hopefully if Chris reads this he'll pick up on that, especially as it is from a female perspective and may help him understand why maybe things are going as well as they could!
