Meanwhile in North Atlantic everyone of note is trying to convince consumers to drink more *TAP* water than bottled due to carbon footprints! Not to mention plastic bottles littering landfills.
No mi amigos..........back to the drawing board. not such an easy solution *banning tap water*
Great point I have to admit … even though it does make my argument a tad more difficult to sustain...
I ain't done yet though!
I'll go with Andrew's argument about putting a service charge on providing the water, that is, if people want to drink water and not an alternative, as I believe many would once free water was no longer available!
I imagine the venue owners would be quite happy with that, especially as tap water is very cheap in comparison to wholesale drinks, which take up a good percentage of the £5 to £10 they need to make per customer per visit anyway. This would also – I imagine - make it more likely they’d be happy to settle for the lower figure…
