Perhaps you should look at the definition of a parasite.

You want our money for yourself and then more of our money for the venue owner.

If you were able to attract enough people to a first class venue with competent teachers and a first class DJ you would be able to charge a single price that covers hire, other costs AND that gives you a profit and then what people drink and whether it's free or not is irrelevent.

Why do you feel the need to stealth tax costumers into subsidising your living? Can't you make a success of it any other way?
